Maeve Silk Ikat Dress - French Blue, Taupe
"More is more and less is a bore." Wise words from the eternally chic Iris Apfel!
Our stunning silk ikat dress is sure to turn heads with its unique design and beautiful ikat pattern. Dramatic sleeves take center stage while the tapered and belted waist create the perfect feminine silhouette. There is a slight slit in the front of the dress for ease of movement and to give just that hint of leg while wearing a long dress. Perfect when paired with a wedge heel or even cowboy boots or booties. This is the kind of dress that you see and then can't stop thinking about!
** More sizes (and patterns) coming soon!! We are so grateful for all the love that these dresses have gotten! If we don't have your size in stock, email us at info@larkinlane.com and we can give you an estimated date of when it will be in and ready to ship! THANK YOU!
The Maeve dress is made from hand-loomed and hand-dyed silk ikat in Uzbekistan. The craftsmanship of ikat has been handed down from generation to generation along the Silk Road. It can take up to a month to weave a single yard of this fabric!
At Larkin Lane, Lark hand selects authentic textiles and collaborates with Uzbek artisans in the design of each product. Your purchase supports these craftsmen and women. Thank you for the role you play in keeping global textile traditions alive!
