Godinton Reversible Silk Ikat Bow Tie

The Godinton bow tie brings together two distinctive and storied textiles: Liberty of London’s Godinton floral on one side, and hand-loomed silk ikat from Uzbekistan on the other. 

One bow tie, three ways to wear it: all Liberty, all ikat, or a playful mix of both.

Not sure how to tie a traditional bow tie? No worries. For the novice, your bow tie will arrive pre-tied and has a helpful hook in the back, so it can be adjusted. For the connoisseur, feel free to untie the bow and work your magic!

Lark's Note

Inspired by the colorful bow ties at Nashville’s Iroquois Steeplechase, I designed our first ikat bow tie for my husband in 2016, when I first started Larkin Lane. Having always loved Liberty of London, I noticed how perfectly the two textiles complemented each other, the charm of Liberty and worldliness of ikat. And as a child of the 80’s who was obsessed with my reversible Bermuda bag, having more than one way to wear something has always felt like a secret superpower!
