Elena Crossbody Purse- Black and Lilac

The floral embroidery featured on our Elena crossbody bag is representative of the beautiful landscape and abundance of flowers in the Highlands of Mexico. The organic wool has been used in traditional dress in this mountainous area for centuries - typically as a skirt for women and tunic / vest for men.

The Elena bag is named for the granddaughter in a family of women known for their mastery of this craft. Your purchase supports these craftswomen. Thank you for the role you play in keeping global textile traditions alive!
