The Artisan

Each Amorcita Top is hand-made in Mexico using techniques passed down through generations. The panels of linen are hand-crocheted together using traditional Mayan techniques, and the shoulders are embroidered with Mixtec symbols, a detail unique to the region's textile tradition.

Our Mexican brocade pieces come from an artist cooperative dedicated to preserving Mayan traditions. They are leaders in their community, employing more than 500 people.
