There's something comforting about wearing a piece made by hand from natural fibers and dyes. The cotton is hand-woven by women carrying forward generations of skill and  tradition. Fit

Loose and relaxed fit, but the pleated detailing keeps it from being overwhelming.

The Artisan 

Each Amorcita Top is hand-made in Mexico using techniques passed down through generations. The fabric — known as manta — is woven using traditional Mayan methods. The panels of fabric are then hand-crocheted together, and the shoulders are embroiodered with Mixtec symbols, a detail unique to the region's textile tradition.

Our Mexican brocade pieces come from an artist cooperative dedicated to preserving Mayan traditions. They are leaders in their community, employing more than 500 people.
